We are pleased to have launched the
very first basic payroll eLearning Programme in the UK!
Basic
The new eLearning approach combines the
content from the one-day Basic Tax and NIC training course and delivers it in a totally
new, exciting and convenient way over a three week period, based on a
comprehensive manual provided to use in conjunction with the elearning material.
eLearning is the on-line delivery of information,
communication, education and training. It is a blend of traditional
distance learning with web-based technology, combined to make
information available to those who need it, when they need it. It is
often referred to as 'blended solutions'

- Access is available to the programme 24
hours a day, 7 days a week, so students control when they learn
- There are no expensive travel and time costs;
the programme can be run from work or home, or both
- Students can work 'on-line' or download the
resources and work 'off-line'
- Students can go on-line to 'discuss' projects
and assignments, or simply raise questions, with fellow students
and the tutor, on a one-to-one basis or as a group
- Students gain more enjoyment and satisfaction
from the course by using their preferred learning style
- Studying is completely flexible and, as a
result, is less disruptive to the demands of the workplace.

Delegates will
have received a practical overview of the UK tax and NICs system and
be confident to calculate tax and NICs manually.
Each
delegate will be provided with a course manual which will help them keep the
mechanics of how tax & NIC is calculated. Should there be any
additional questions after the workshop, they may emailed to the
Payroll Solutions helpdesk for up to 30 days after the conclusion
of the course
This workshop has
been designed to meet the needs of those:
1) with little or no
experience of current UK payroll practice.
2) may have experience using computerised payroll but little manual
experience.
3) may be completely new to payroll or returning to payroll after a
couple of years break.
4) it will also be of value to accounts and personnel/HR staff who
have some responsibility for the payroll operation, or
5) who simply provide absence cover.
